I’m writing an update because I am easily distracted. I have a sketchup model on the other screen in a mid-extrude and not saved state which is a good example of how some days progress.
The important word here is “Progress”
I have made some progress on my health issues dealing with Cancer. I am still in remission! Although after this weekend I will spend a day at the hospital being stuffed into the tube after drinking the Kool-Aid to make sure of that. This will be followed by the physical that I get every eight weeks and an infusion that will make me unhappy for the rest of the week.
I haven’t caught Covid in almost a year! So that’s good. The first go-round with that beast left marks. Not unlike chemotherapy.
Also, I did manage to break at least four ribs in a fall from a ladder last September. That slowed me down quite a bit.
End of pity party.
I’m working. Too much of course but I am doing the best work of my career. Just rather slowly. Keep up with that on Instagram. My energy is still touch and go. I expect that will not change anytime soon. I’m working on my fitness level but am still unable to ride my bike up steep hills like I did BC. I try to spend time working on my hammock skills on sunny warm days. I am no longer felling, hauling cutting splitting and stacking several cord of wood each winter. I am slowly working on putting a second floor on my small circa. 1970 house to accommodate the bursting-at-the-seams nature of this domicile.
There was one very dramatic week last fall wherein our roof was removed, The pre-built second floor was lifted onto the one story house and the roof was placed back on top. Now there is a 5 year plan to finish this all off.
Eventually there will be a second floor sleeping porch. Now it is just flappy plastic :-)
