Renovation of a not-so-old compact cape.

This house is one of many similar houses on a side street in Brattleboro, Vermont. The kitchen was dark and minimally functional. The living room was a funky later addition on the back of the house. We developed a long term plan and spent time looking at many options with much three dimensional modeling and imagery in order to feel confidant moving forward. In the end, structural modifications were minimal. We added a small entry mudroom and rebuilt the back living room and deck. Greg Goodman did the woodworking. Mindel and Morse were the General contractors for the early parts of the project and Moss Kahler did the later work.
